Text Box: INTRODUCTION: After fellowshipping with GOD and presenting request and petitions to HIM, the one who prays needs to begin thanking GOD for the answer, and thanking GOD for what he has done, giving GOD the praise for what he is doing and thanking ( praising ) for what he is going to do. Thanking GOD for the answer is faith for receiving the answer to the prayers Thanking GOD for the answer before the answer is seen or manifested is faith that the answer is being answered by GOD. Praying according to the will of GOD is the first and most important part of prayers that are answered. When praying according to GOD'S will the answer to prayer is sent as the prayer is finished, but there is the other person's or persons' will to be considered. GOD will not go against anyone's will, that is GOD'S own will The answer may have been sent when first prayed, but there is a spiritual battle (warfare) in the heavens to keep the answer from being received. The other person's will may keep the prayer answer from being manifested. Or the person who prayed has not changed his will to the acceptance of the answer. Or there is a warfare within the person being prayed for hindering the manifestation of the answer. Therefore thanking GOD for the answer allows GOD to fight the battle bringing the answer to the one praying, or bring forth the manifestation of the answer. GOD sends his Angels to fight the spiritual warfare in bringing the answer or manifestation of the prayer. Thanking GOD for that answer allows GOD to work with the other person, giving a chance for that person to change their will. Before thanking GOD for the answer there must be a witness of the prayer by the HOLY SPIRIT who dwells in a born-again Spirit-filled Christian. Spiritual warfare can keep the prays from being heard in HEAVEN. In thanking GOD for the answer brings the full assurance that the answer is on its way or is already here, to the place where sent. Thanking GOD for the answer brings victory to the answer. Praising GOD for the answer helps GOD to warned fighting the spiritual warfare opposing the answer. Before Jonah seen the answer to fais prayer he began thanking GOD. GOD heard Jonah's praise and thanksgiving and Jonah's repentance. Jonah knew that thanking GOD for the answer was important to the answer as asking and repentance.
