change his will and mind to God’s will and mind. Some times this takes time or hard situations for the person to change his will and mind to God’s.

Prayer shows forth sympathy for God’s Will thus God will move to perform His Will.

Prayer changes things. The attitude of the believer changes with the more he prays according to God’s will. Prayer will cause God to work. God will bring into manifestation the spiritual that is offered in prayer. Whatever is prayed for will manifest from the spiritual prayer of faith. Both the good and evil will manifest through prayer.

Prayer builds faith in the believing Christian. By praying according to God’s will the believer will see the results of his daily prayer. Thus the results bring forth a building of faith. Prayer strengthens the weak when their prayers are answered. The mature receive a nourishing from prayer. Prayer is a spiritual life builder. Without prayer the spiritual condition of a believing Christian becomes weak or bankrupt.

 

Why pray ?

 

Prayer is a communication and union of the believing Christian and God ALMIGHTY. Without prayer the Christian looses his way of Christianity and falls prey to the devil, who seeks to kill, steel and destroy. In communicating with God the believer comes to know the voice and will of God Almighty, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit. When a Christian does not truly know the voice of God the enemy can come and closely imitate a voice close to God’S voice. Thus leading the believer stray.

Prayer sets God’s will in motion. By voicing the will of God with faith the believer says he agrees with the will of God and accepts it as done. Prayer is to set God’s will to do its work whether on earth or in the heavens. It is important to voice God’s will by the believer. When the believer voices God’s will he is saying he wants God to perform His will.

God will not bind anything that the believer has not bound first with prayer in heaven or on earth. God will not loose anything on earth or in the heavens that is not first loosed by prayer of the believing Christian. Nothing is loosed form the jaws of the enemy or the enemy are not bound from manifesting unless first praying for God to do His Will. God is quick to perform his will for the believing Christian who asks.

The world today seems to be in the hands of unbelievers and ungodly men. The Christians should have control, if not by physical at lest by prayer. Christians should have spiritual control of the earth. Adam lost the spiritual control of the earth but Jesus bought back the spiritual control for the believer from Satan. Without prayer how does a Christian expect to have spiritual control. First the spiritual control must be in the hands of the believing Christians before they can have full physical control. Only through prayer can the Christian gain any control over the physical. Only through prayer can a Christian gain control from Satan over his family, church, city, or nation.

Prayer is the lifeline that builds a Christian's life into that which is the live of Jesus. Without prayer a Christian will fall prey to the enemy, Satan. Prayer is of two-fold life builder. Praying in the Spirit builds the spirit of the believing Christian into a mighty spirit holy and powerful with the Word of God. Praying with the understanding brings forth a building of some parts of faith. With the understanding praying the mind is brought in line with the Mind of God. Praying in the spirit always and praying with the understanding helps to renew the mind. Prayer is the lifeline of a spirit-filled Christian's life. Christians must know what prayer is and how to pray to be an effective believing Christian.

Prayer is the ministry of every Christian. Not only is prayer a ministry of the Christian but also is the most vital ministry of the Church. The ministry of prayer lacks in most Christian's life. This lack of prayer is because of the lack of knowledge of prayer in the Christian's life.

Before Christians can pray effective they must know something about prayer. The Holy Spirit will teach the Christian to pray. With prayer being a vast subject everybody has learned something about prayer. A Spirit-filled Christian has his prayer language to pray with when the mind is unfruitful. But praying with the understanding is as important as praying in the Spirit. Prayer is an endless subject. Some say one thing and others say something else. They only disagree about some of the finer points of prayer. But the basic principles are the same and everybody should agree on them.

In this series of lessons are the basic principles that work for this author's prayer life. The word of God is the final authority on all spiritual matters. Open your minds and let the Holy Spirit reveal something new to you about prayer or renew your prayer life.
