Tommy and Julette were the next to stop they asked for prayer for their son who was leaving for Iraq. They were a blessing to visit with. While David and I were resting a car stopped, this was two young people, their names were Rebecca she was about sixteen years of age, and Luke was 10 years old. Rebecca and Luke had seen us walking earlier so they went home and asked their parents if they could come back and speak with us. Rebecca and Luke were a blessing to visit with and they were on fire for Jesus. Before they left I asked them to thank their parents for raising beautiful children in Jesus, They gave a blessing for the work of God. Beth and Lesa were the next to stop us after the walk continued. Beth asked us to pray for Mag who had cancer. Lesa asked for prayer for her son Jeremy who needed to be delivered from his alcohol problem. After prayer and blessing Tom they went on their way. Judy and her daughter, Lilah were next to stop. Judy asked for prayer for her husband, Vick to be delivered from smoking. The Lord instructed for David and I to stop and rest, the Lord was setting us up for our next encounter, so after resting we waited until the Lord released us to go again. After about one hundred yards a car stopped and it was Beth and Lesa again as they headed towards us another car stopped and it was Gretchen a reporter from the local paper of Walnut Ridge. Gretchen asked several questions and took some pictures for the newspaper. After praying with her it was time for us to part company. At the railroad crossing on 412 in Walnut Ridge my wife, Jo caught up with us, just as David and Jo were going to leave to go pick up my van a young man came up to the cross and blessed me with some finances so David took a picture of the young boy his mother was waiting in a car nearby. While waiting a lady from the Employment office across the street came out she was a joyful person and a believer so we had a good visit and about the time she was ready to leave Jo and David came with the van. As I was putting things back in the van and getting ready to place the cross on the van to leave, Jo told Text Box: me there was a lady named Linda who had pulled up across the parking lot and was waiting she had called her husband Gary to come to visit with me, if just a few minutes her husband and her son pulled up. Linda has cancer and Gary is a diabetic – Jo, David and I prayed with this precious couple they are believers and we know that our Lord is the Healer, we blessed them with some CD’s to help them keep strong in the Lord, after I prayed and blessed them they blessed us with some finances, God is always faithful to meet our needs. Then we left for the evening.
