Fellowship With God |

Introduction: Without fellowship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit it is impossible to know the will of God or God’s thoughts. Fellowship with God is not done by the law in black and white, but is done through the spirit by the Spirit-HOLY. Only when man's spirit is regenerated by the HOLY SPIRIT of God can man fellowship with God. Once man's spirit becomes born-again he is able to hear from God more clearly. With the spirit of a believer in communion with God Almighty the Holy Spirit of God can reveal the thoughts of God and God’S will to man. In communion with God man becomes one with God. This allows God to have his thoughts and will revealed to man. READING: JOHN 14:1-17:26.
I. For a person to fellowship he must be born-again. No man by himself can fellowship with God Almighty. To enter the kingdom of God a person must have been born-again, regenerated by the Holy Spirit of God in his spirit. Jesus said a man could only enter the kingdom of God after he is born of water and the Spirit. John 3:5-6 Jesus answered,"! tell you the truth, unless a man is born of the water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Flesh gives birth to flesh and spirit gives birth to spirit. New International Version A. The rebirth and renewal is by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit regenerates man’s spirit in a spirit that becomes holy and acceptable to God Almighty. The Holy Spirit washes the sinfulness of the old nature of man out of the spirit of man by the BLOOD OF Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is poured out from God Almighty generously upon those who call upon the name of Jesus Christ. Titus 3:4-7 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
