It was Susan and Mike as we talked about the walk I sensed that Mike need to carry the Cross. After a little persuasion he got out of his pick-up and walked a ways with the Cross. We hadn’t walk about one hundred yards before a van stopped. Three men got out and walk toward the Cross. They had a crate with them full of something to drink and some snacks as an offering. We were there for more than half an hour ministering to them and they also ministered to us. After the van left Mike walked the rest of the way to his pick-up where Susan was waiting. While we were ministering to the men from the van Susan moved the pick-up to couple hundred yards ahead of us. As Susan sat there waiting a pick-up pulled up beside her and God gave her someone to minister also. From there we walked down the hill and part way up another hill before someone stopped. There were three vehicles which stopped at one time. One of them was a pastor who had retired from one Church, but has started another one. An elderly lady which was one of the three cars that stopped. She was excited about the Cross being carried along the highway. She was full of the love of Jesus and talked about how her family didn’t like her being so on fire for Jesus. After conquering the longest hill David and I were ready for another rest stop. Mike and Susan gave me an address to look for. As I walked down the hill I began to look for the house number because that is where we would stop and rest. But we didn’t find the address number on a mailbox. As we walk toward the last hill I noticed a lady standing outside watching us walk toward her house. She met us at the edge of her drive. Loretta was excited about the Cross going by her home. Loretta said that people were calling each other and sharing about the Cross passing their home. A young lady came to where the Cross was she was walking from her home furtherr along the highway. She said she was Catholic but was born-again. After talking with her for a few minutes I could tell she was truly born-again. While I ministered to her David talked with Loretta. Most of the time, when there was more than one person to minister too David would talk to them and minister to them while they waited. Suddenly a car stopped in Loretta’s drive. She knew the man because he was her neighbor. Mr. Harvey P. Got out of the car with much excitement. He wanted to bless the ministry with some New Testament. Praise the Lord this was part of the harvest of what had been planted into a prison ministry earlier in the week. We blessed everybody after Harvey left then headed for the last hill. As David and I walk up the hill it was the easiest hill walked up that day. Before I knew it we were over the hill and heading toward the stopping place. It was now after 5:00 PM and I could feel the heat of a sunburn on my arms. After walking about ½ of a mile from SR 168 Tom S. stopped. He had finished his work in Pocahontas and was heading home. Tom visited a few minutes when I asked him if he would like to carry the Cross toward MS Addie’s. He pick up the Cross and started down the road. I took the Cross back about ¼ of mile from MS Addie’s and finished the walk. David had walk on ahead of Tom and I to get the van. He took Tom back to his car. As I approached SR 141 a gentleman got out a car and started across the ditch towards the Cross. I asked him to stay there because I was coming around the corner to where he was. Upon reaching him I set the Cross down and began to talk with him. The Holy Spirit began to minster to him. He was a pastor who was on verge of giving up the ministry and it sounded like he was also ready to backslide. While ministering to him the Holy Spirit moved me to give him one of my CD’s. I didn’t know which one but I would know it when I would see it. Praise The Lord that was the one. As I handed it to the pastor he began to weep. The CD was “Why Didn’t I Receive My Healing”. The Holy Spirit knew just what he needed. Then I added two more CD’s. before he left he was praising God and his joy was refreshed. Now That’s What It Is All About. End of Day Two.
