|
Introduction: Man cannot fellowship with God without faith. The Christian cannot know God’s will without faith. Christians must believe that God is, was, and is yet to come. Just knowing about God is not knowing or having faith in God. Only by faith can a person please God. Faith is essential in coming before God Almighty with prayer. Faith is an essential part of prayer and fellowship with God. Without faith the prayer prayed most likely will not be answered. Faith is the part of prayer that brings the prayer before God to be heard in Heaven. Reading: Hebrews 10:35-12:3
I. By faith in Jesus Christ a person can go before God through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the door to the throne room where prayers are heard. Only with faith in the name of Jesus Christ can a person come before God Almighty with his prayers and petitions. God is no respecter of persons, he treats everyone the same who come before him in faith. It is by faith that prayers get answered. Faith in Jesus Christ and faith in what Jesus has done for man on the Cross, being raised from the dead and seated at the right hand of God Almighty the Most High Living God Eternal. Jesus Christ is the one who turned away God’S wrath, so the believer who comes through him will be heard in Heaven by God, EL-SHADDAI. Through Jesus Christ God does not see our sins, he sees Jesus Christ, the LAMB of God. Any man who tries to go before God without faith in Jesus Christ is only fooling himself. All the righteous acts of man are as dirty rags before God. Only the acts done through Jesus Christ and faith in HIS name are the acts of righteousness seen by God Almighty. Reading: Romans 3:1-4:25. Romans 3:21-26 But now a righteousness from GOD, a part from the law has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from GOD come through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believes, there is no difference, for all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of GOD, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. GOD presented him as a sacrifice of atonement (as one who turn aside the wrath, taking away sin) through his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because he in his forbearance he had left the sins committed before hand unpunished he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justified man who has faith in Jesus.
