May the LORD make you prosperous for the building of the kingdom of GOD."
After visiting and praying with Chris and Patricia it was time to leave. The van started easily. I had no more trouble the rest of the way to Bangor, Maine. This was a divine appointment of the LORD. If I had not forgotten to unplug the refrigerator then most likely I would have continued traveling and missed the divine appointment and the blessing of meeting two special people of GOD.
The prayer route then went through Utica, NY, the through Schenectady, Albany, and Troy, NY. At Bennington, Vermont it was time to refuel the van. The people in the conveyance store were not very open to be witnessed to, but I was able to talk to the about why the Cross was on the van. The major town in Vermont was Brattleboro. The first town to stop and pray in New Hampshire was Keene. The way State Road 9 went was around the town, so I missed Keene, NH. When I arrived in Concord, New Hampshire I also prayed for Keene. By the time the prayer route had reached Rochester, New Hampshire the sun was beginning to set.
It was dark when I reached Sanford, Maine. From Sanford I found the quickest way to Portland, Maine. In Portland it was time to stop for the night.
The next day I took the Thru Way to Auburn-Lewiston and then to August, Maine's state capital. From Augusta the prayer route went to Belfast, Maine and along the coast to Searsport. At Stockton Springs the prayer route to Bangor turned north to Bangor. It was early afternoon when I reach the motel I had planed to stay in while in Bangor. The motel was near all the major shopping areas of Bangor. The rest of the day was mostly resting. The next day was spent getting shoes for the walk and getting everything else ready for the walk.
The first day of the walk began at noon on the 10th of June 2003. The day was only a walk around the city of Bangor. The second day was spent walking through and around the downtown area of Bangor.
The walk began to take on a slower pace than planned. The rest of the walk was at GOD's Pace and not mine. It took three months of walking to reach Bennington, Vermont, where the walk crusade ended for 2003.
The month of July was spent in Paragould, Arkansas at Cornerstone Family Church videoing and reproducing the Woman's Conference 2003.
